MUNICH

24 HOURS IN MUNICH

The Kings Hotel is paradise after the "sleeper" train last night.  We heard the couple next to us put their bed away about 3AM and give up on sleeping. The bunks were hard and the ride jerky so the soft comfortable beds in the Kings Hotel will greatly appreciated tonight.....or maybe even this afternoon for a nap.

Early morning coffee priced about like yesterdays beer. It is location location. But remember, once you buy a drink you "own" that location for as long as you like.

This damn clock tower kept ringing and ringing and ringing but we would not give up our location.

I call these "the up escalator to work".  It was right in front of our "location".

Construction is alive and well in Munich

When they work on buildings in Europe's big cities they put covers over the work to mimic the building.  This one even is complete with people peaking out.

I found this matte black finish on a $250,000 Bentley interesting

Beer and anything is good here.

This is the main reason we stopped in Munich.  Beer and shnitzel.  Hard role and bratwurst for breakfast tomorrow and back on the train.
