Today we just jumped ferries and went different places. It was fun.
If you look you can see the freighter that we have our bow into..almost. Look at the guy in the green shirt.
This area, Bekitas, is the business district with a lot more traffic.
Vicki knocked on the Dolmabahce Palace door but no one answered.
She tried to get in this door.....
...but this guy yelled at her.
This is the real entrance but it was closed.
This guy wanted to see too.
Thursday is a great tourist day as there is only one and a half cruise ships in.
Even taxi's get tickets. His fares set patiently in the cab.
Fancy shoe shine stands
Anthony Bordain ranted about the "wet" hamburgers. They were not easy to find. We had to walk all the way back into the old section, passing many a food stand to get one.
Waste of a good meal. There is so much better stuff to be had. Sorry Tony, this ain't worth the effort.
But these are nice guys. We get fresh squeezed orange juice everyday from them.
As "seen on the ferry"..again
There are only 1,000,000 left at this price and they are going quick.
Guess I had better get one before they run out!
"As seen on the Ferry"
What the .......? I expected more for 25 cents!
